GOLD MEDAL ENVIRONMENTAL ENTERS THE STATE OF FLORIDA BY RECEIVING RESIDENTIAL CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE

DEPTFORD, NEW JERSEY — Gold Medal Environmental, a growing trash removal, dumpster rental and recycling services company in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, today announced that it has been awarded a new residential contract with the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida to provide residential curbside automated collection services for single-stream recyclables. As part of the contract, Gold Medal is to provide one-time each-week collection to 37,888 homes, as well as recycling services to various commercial customers, municipal buildings and special events.

The contract was awarded on November 15, 2016, by the city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and became effective on December 1, 2016. The Company’s Florida subsidiary, Gold Medal Service of FL, LLC, will service the contract.
