Deptford, New Jersey — Gold Medal Environmental will stand together with all of its employees and the entire industry to celebrate National Garbage Man Day on June 17, 2016.
National Garbage Man Day was developed by John D. Arwood to celebrate the workers of the waste management industry because of what garbage men and women do for our communities on a daily basis. More than simply moving trash from one place to another, garbage men and women are also pioneers in advancing technologies such as recycling, renewable and sustainable energy, and the reduction of our dependence on fossil fuels. Gold Medal thanks and appreciates all of our employees and will be holding special events at all of our facilities on Friday, June 17, 2016.
CEO and President of Gold Medal, Glen Miller, said, “We are very excited to be celebrating with our employees on National Garbage Man Day. Our employees work hard everyday and do ‘whatever it takes’ to help keep our communities clean.” He added, “Many people may not realize how their local garbage men and women are positively impacting the environment. National Garbage Man Day gives us an opportunity to thank our team and show our appreciation.”
